Surf Fishing Clinic Overview

Feel the rush or the tug on your line! Reel in the first fish! Create a story to tell your family and friends! In other words, learn to catch a memory.

Whether a novice or first time Hatteras fisher person, you will have an experienced guide who will enrich your surf fishing experience.

Our time on the beach starts when we arrive at the first ramp to go to the ocean.   If however, the fish out smart us, travel time to alternate locations does count for total trip.

We have a custom cooler/rod rack that can accomodate up to 10 rods.  If you need equipment or tackle, we provide at no extra charge.  We keep a food/drink cooler and a fish/bait cooler on the truck, so you can leave yours at home.

Capt. Lee will show you how to locate and identify structure and potential fishing "holes".  We hope that after you have spent the time with us on the National Seashore, you will be much better able to "read the beach".

Also, you have no need to purchase the NPS ORV permit.  You will need a NC Saltwater fishing license.  These can be purchased at a local tackle shop or online.  We suggest you get your license before our adventure.

IT ALL STARTED WHEN CAPTAIN LEE PICKED US UP AND

DROVE US TO THE BEACH

Karen and Ron said, "Capt. Lee is an awesome source of information. He knows a great deal about the fishing industry in the Outer Banks, on both the sport side and the local’s financial dependence on the industry. During our ride to go surf fishing, Capt. Lee told us about the local ecology and the changes the island has seen since the most recent storm damage. He taught our children how to cast properly into the ocean and how to prepare bait. Our girls really enjoyed their time and learned a great deal in a short amount of time.”
